From Cabin by the Lake

Cabin by the Lake is a game where you progress in small steps, loop by loop. each loop gives you another chance to build on previous loops. Some characters have a special trait that is unique to them, and may present differently as well. More detail to follow. Here are some of the games core concepts.

Concepts

Character Corruption

Each character has a set of corruption levels unique to them. They represent how close/open the character is to the MC and allows them more freedom to perform greater acts. Once achieved they will remain, and the player is free to toggle them on or off as they need in attempt to further more loops.

This can be done between loops.

World Corruption

The game has a counter that increases with unique interactions you have with each girl. Not every act will produce more corruption, nor will repeats of the same act in the same way. The game has certain thresholds of corruption that need to be met before you can move forward with certain things, like moonstones


Moonstones

You can, or will be able to find a moonstone for each girl, once about 40 world corruption is met. this moonstone must be collected before they can be made pregnant.

Unique Character stats

These are special attributes that are unique to the characters and are notated by a in the guide.

Sami:
Jealousy - reverts from loop to loop, Sami may react out of jealousy during certain events she would ordinarily not, if she is jealous enough
Jenny:
Book progress - is maintained through each loop, You must finish her book to go further with Jenny.
Lina:
Nerve - Is maintained through each loop. Nerve is a kind of corruption unique to Lina, yet still contributes to World Corruption. Lina needs to get her nerve levels up to perform certain actions.
$$ - reverts from loop to loop. Lina likes certain types of photos. You might be able to trade her for other photos or certain favors.
Carla:
Concern - reverts from loop to loop. Certain actions the MC may take will cause Carla to become concerned for his well being. This may cause her do things out of protection for the MC (double check this).

In game guides

During the loop, players have an opportunity to use guides to help them achieve progress in the game. They can find them on the right side of the screen:

The top button will allow the player to view the branches of conversation paths that the player has previously unlocked hoping to get a different outcome:
On the left hand side there will be this key that will show your current progress with various girls. Also shown here is the unique character stats mentioned earlier:

The bottom button will give you a general feel about how to unlock a girl's individual corruptions:

This a list of requirements necessary to achieve that level of corruption. Most of these reset every loop and have to be achieved within the same loop. Certain Conditions, like Lina's Nerve, can be built up over multiple play-throughs.
